My last two entries in both my accounts were met head on by someone I have much respect for which obviously includes her views. If I felt my friends on VR were not ‘big’ enough to accept my views, they wouldn’t be friends; I wouldn’t deliberately write something to upset someone ... that is so not me.

I thank the four people who messaged me privately regarding this topic but it really is not a debate .... it was just my opinion! But here’s the hub, you’d rather message privately because you don’t want your name to be seen either supporting this topic or not ... that’s the shame, the tragedy.

When I put down my thoughts I have this ‘idea’ in my head and start off with full intention of writing about it. I do have a nasty habit of digressing however. It would seem that in both these cases my words got a little lost but I do stand by everything I have written.

My only wish is that I could be as articulate as some and write with a fluency which would convey my words more clearly and get the message over ...... friends who know me often hear me say during a written conversation that they should ‘’wait until we speak properly’’ or ‘’wait till I see you,’’ this is not said to avoid the subject but to clarify the subject with the spoken word.

I am not here to win medals or score points among the members, but I will ‘say’ as I ‘see’.

I will not be regurgitating these subjects about what’s been written, but I also won’t remain silent if I see it happening again..... that’s my prerogative and exercise it I will!

So there was this new girl on the block. She must be around 17/18 years old and on her avatar she decided to show a little skin ... ok, a lot of skin.

She stayed within the rules of VR and as distasteful as it seemed had every right to be there doing it.



What surprised me was the people who bullied her, some of the names were indeed quite surprising.



I was asked 'what if' my daughter were to have done it ... firstly I don't do 'what ifs' or 'buts', I trust my daughter implicitly .. but, BUT, BUT, if she did do something like that, I would have come down very heavy on her ... it's an unwritten rule between a father and daughter ... just like a woman has a prerogative to change her mind at any time so a father can be a hypocrite where his daughter's concerned!

This damn weather, first thing this morning the temp was down to 66 degrees so I left home wearing a bloody fleece, within 20 mins the clouds had done a runner, the sun came out and the temp went back up to 78 (currentlt 80 and rising) ... everyone's walking around in t-shirts and shorts and I'm dressed for a day out to antartica!



Good to be home!!
